BISHOP EDGAR LLAMERA-BANTIGUE
DR. EDNA REVECHE-BANTIGUE
The couple founded Nissi Educational Foundation Inc. in the year 1998 which later was changed to Nissi Academy Inc. in January 2000. The desire to build the school was a united purpose to train children in the way they should go for when the are old, they will not depart from it.
As young couple pastors whom God called to provide godly love and care to orphaned, abandoned and abused children in their early years of ministry way back in Surigao City, Surigao del Norte in the year 1979 was the same couple called by God to build a God-centered school in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu in 1997 where godly character, values and attribute will be instilled in the heart and mind of every child regardless of belief and religion. Hence the conception of the name “Nissi” which is a Hebrew word for the “Lord our banner”.
Nissi Academy Inc. will always be grateful for the heroic, selfless and bravely dedication and contribution of this couple to education who not only listened but above all, obeyed the calling of God passionately.

Is one of the founders of Nissi Academy Inc. who was given the wisdom by God how to physically build the structure; God provided him with helpmate that has the heart to listen and obey the instructions just as Noah and his sons when they built the ark.
He graduated theology in the year 1975 at Northern Mindanao Bible School in Butuan City, Agusan Del Norte. God brought him from a simple beginning to the abundance of God’s anointing which is evident in the expansion of the school, Nissi Academy and in the ministry God has entrusted him.
Aside from being the President and Chairman of the School Board, He is also the President of Christ Faith Fellowship Philippines Inc. and an active Adviser of the different Ministerial Association in Cebu Province and serves two (2) term as member of the Board of Trustees of the Philippine Council of Evangelical Churches.
He has traveled the world bringing the banner of God’s love and salvation to different nations, tribes and tongues. His call as a Pastor has brought him many spiritual children who fondly call him “Tatay” not only in the Ministry but also in the School Community. He understands that the children are the heritage and so they have to be taught the path that leads to Christ.

Is the wife of Bishop Edgar L. Bantigue who was a strong intellectual and emotional support in
laying the academic foundation of Nissi Academy Inc.
Aside from being a Theology graduate in 1974 at Northern Mindanao Bible School, Butuan City, she also finished her Bachelor of Arts (A.B.) in Northeastern Mindanao Colleges and Bachelor of Law in the University of the Visayas. She completed her Master’s in Education and Doctor of Education major in Administration also in the same school where she was also granted Juris Doctor last December 2019.
Together with Bishop Edgar, they traveled the world to bring the banner of love and salvation which brought forth spiritual children. Hence, many calls her “Nanay”.
Her passion to provide godly education has expanded from the four corners of the Church, to the walls of the Bible Seminary, to the School Community and beyond. Her ultimate goal is not perfection but EXCELLENCE that will be reflected in the person’s relationship with God, to self and to others.
